In this talk, we will explore the transformative potential of Generative AI (GenAI) in clinical development, focusing on its application in the biostatistics and programming functions. As advanced AI models become increasingly integrated into workflows, their role in automating repetitive tasks, accelerating clinical development, and improving decision-making is more relevant than ever. This presentation will cover key use cases where GenAI has already demonstrated its impact, such as using copilot for coding assistance and automating statistical quality control processes. By showcasing real-world examples of GenAI-powered applications, including the semi-automated statistical QC workflow enabled by ChatGPT and LangChain through Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), the talk will highlight how these technologies enhance efficiency while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
