How Your Information is Treated

Open Source in Pharma does not sell, trade or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties in any manner that could be harmful, dangerous or violates your privacy. We do use third party platforms to help manage event registration, conferences and workshops. All third party platforms are listed, with links to their privacy policies, at the end of this document.

Virtual Event Registration

Open Source in Pharma uses third party software to manage virtual events. We collect names and email addresses. You may be asked for affiliate information and, optionally, social media links and a photograph. If you are a speaker at an Open Source in Pharma event we may ask for additional biographical information and photograph

Workshops

Open Source in Pharma uses third party software to manage workshops and workshop registration. We collect names and email addresses. For workshop registration we may collect information that identifies the country from which you are connecting. When we offer credentialing for workshops, we request name and email addresses.

In-Person Event

In the cases where Open Source in Pharma has partnered with Posit to develop in-person events, these events are included as an offering from Posit and we use Posit’s conference registration platform for attendees to register. We may take photos or short video during the in-person events. If you do not wish to be photographed please inform the organizers at info@rinpharma.com.

Sign-Up For Virtual Meetings and Hangouts

Open Source in Pharma supports The R/Pharma Diversity Alliance and R/Pharma Hangouts. People have the opportunity to sign up for notifications for upcoming meetings using AddEvent.
